Last night was huge. The girls made it into their coop, on their own, for the first time at bed time. They graduated ramp training 101 !!
Left to right: Barred Rock, Ameraucana, Australorp. The Ameraucana consistently lays extra large while the other two are nice size, just a bit smaller.... probably considered "large" Laying started at 6 months.
Opal (Australorp) on the left, Phyllis (Barred Rock in the middle, Edna (EE/Ameraucana) on the right. Not a single egg yet at 22 weeks!!
Here the girls are at about 22 weeks, Sept 1st, 2013. Working their glory hole under our bird feeder.
