Last year, I bird watched a lot. I saw and identified more than 40 different species in my own yard.In the winter months a nyjer feeder hung beside the kitchen window,where goldfinches,pine siskins, purple finches,chickadees,and sparrows came every day to eat.The bird at the top is a purple finch,and the two down below are a goldfinch and a pine siskin.I became more interested in chickens through wild birds.
