Eenie and her surprise baby. She only laid 2 eggs and hatched them both out. Sadly though, by the time I was able to get her in the coop, she only had one with her. Babies hatched November

Minie with her chick batch born October 2012. This hen was found sitting on over 40 eggs!!!! My hens liked to hide their nests. We didnt have our coop built yet. A dozen babies hatched out of the 40 eggs. We found her behind our dog's kennel in the weeds and moved her to the shed and locked her in.
