"Chicken Doors" on each side of nesting boxes. If I ever get to breeding different birds, I'll be able to have two separate runs, nesting and roosting areas, plus free range the rest out the main door. IF.....:)
Things to do this spring: Build back doors which access nesting boxes Paint red & white
The Coop. The door is 1"x12" pine. It's 8 1/2' high @ peak. Just 3 tab shingles, you can see my southern facing plex-e-glass windows.
Removable nest boxes (20) aprox. 1'x1'x2'. They like the 5 on the bottom the best. The lower the pecking order, the higher the egg. They love pecking at frozen "suet on a string."
