Mounting the nesting boxes onto the back, we were going to put them inside but it looked too crowded. Josh supported the boxes with some metal shelving brackets that we salvaged from a closet that was removed in a former house project :D reuse!
We had some spare paint left over from other projects and a few tester pots that I got from the "Ooops paint" area at HomeDepot so that will be what the trim color is :D I'd love to leave some of the wood but it is all old wood that needs the help of paint to protect it from the elements.
Our paint job getting started, this is the "oops" paint from home depot that I got for five bucks it was a Behr exterior with primer paint in the color "Midnight in Paris"...or what my hubby calls gray-blue

Josh made this side mount on hinges and open completely for easy cleanout of their coop.
Got the antique window in from my Mom :D
I like that mounting them gives us more room inside for roosts and floor space.
