Moved a free old yard barn from local farm to our backyard using a tractor. We set the yard bard on a hay bail lifter and used ratchet straps.
The roof was leaking so my ingenious dad stapled on a soft canopy used on semi trailers. Once we get around to putting on the extra vinyl siding we have, a new roof will be put on.
The yard barn is 8' x 10'. The inside is divided into a 4' x 8' coop and a 6' x 8' potting/gardening shed. My husband framed the inside dividing wall and used an old louvered door for the "people door". The rest of the wall is made up of chicken wire and an electric fan circulates air.
The nest boxes have door I can access from my side with a shelf above it for chicken decorations.
