I discovered and named the Shadowing Genetic Modifying Trait in 2011.
Mutative 'Clouded' Ash-Red Checker bred in 2010 by Manny Arquette. I first discovered and named this genetic modifying trait in 2008. Defining Clouded: Not translucent or transparent – hazy and unclear in definition, i.e. dull in overall color presentation of phenotype. Clouded and Marbled effect pigment in a diametric manner with Clouded appearing somewhat hazy. In comparison a Marbled phenotype displays a higher degree of sheen in the vicinity of the head, crop and shield.
Globally unique Harlequin Bar with Stockings. Pigeon exhibited has a defining and individually varied color sequence and an attractive pastel shade of lilac can be seen to the bird's back and shoulders, together with the colors Charcoal, red, grey and white to plumage embodiment.

A Blanched-Ash-Red Dilute Phenotype. It was established this mutative color of Ash-Red Dilution was not of a Faded modifying trait, nor Clouded and after some deliberation it was decided the color variety be thus classified - A Blanched Ash-Red Dilute, or Blanched Yellow. Globally unique mutative Cinnamon fledgling bred by Manny Arquette 2011. Please note the tail which clearly distinguishes the Cinnamon-Genome from that of the Ash-Red, Recessive red and Indigo mimic-red. I have several of this bloodline to pursue further breeding research development and it is another exciting addition to my many mutative color varieties. The eye-catching Cinnamon color exhibited herein certainly stands out from the red and brown colored pigeons.

The Charcoal-Face genetic trait was first realized within a year of research and intensive cross breeding with other color varieties towards development is responsible for many of the unique modifying traits to have been expressed over the years. For example: The Black-Ash variety, Charcoal-Head Spread-Ash, Shadowing Ash-Red Dilute and Charcoal-Head Barless Mealy.
