My beautiful Blue Splash Silkie Rooster that I can't seem to pick a name for (it's changed 3 times in 2 weeks). I had NO intention of getting a rooster when starting my flock, but no way I could turn him down (plus love his fluffy feet). Friendliest and most laid back boy I've ever had, which is good because the spurs on him are a good 4 inches long and could take out a Velociraptor.
Nala, my juvenile Ameraucana hen. Definitely have some work to do with her, as she has not been handled as much as the others I bought at the auction. She should lay the blue eggs I want.
Meet Ursula, my Partridge Silkie Hen, complete with feathered feet. I don't know why, but her expression just instantly reminded me of Ursula from The Little Mermaid. Accidentally got her with a Black Silkie Rooster (I thought I was bidding on two hens...still undecided on whether to keep the other rooster or not.
Chocolate Orpington chicks I picked up locally at a farm auction when they were 8 days old. They are 3 weeks old now and I'm soooo ready for them to be big enough to go outside!!!
