My coop I built. 4x4 metal posts pounded into the ground(the kind you see for mail boxes) then some 1x3 perlings to screw the siding to, metal roof. Added the nesting boxes and run. Buried fence for run 8 inch into the ground to help prevent any tunneling predators. Material cost approximately $500.00 including entrance door. Complete with guard dogs, I hope to have the safest chickens in the north east.
