My extremely resourceful hubby made this for me. Total cost = $30.00!!!! He used 1 discarded pallet, a shipping crate, and even a tossed out baby crib (for the sleeping box)! He only had to buy the hardware cloth, wheels, and the vinyl siding for the roof.
My three girls, growing up. About a month later. Had to fence in an area for them after neighborhood stray dogs began attacking the coop at night.
New chicken coop- built from a kit we bought on-line. Very easy to assemble. We did add 2 locks however; one on the front screen door and one on the coop door. There was already one on the nest box.
My three girls....just home from the feed store where my husband bought them! Barred Rocks, named "Wynken", "Blynken", and "Nod".
