My bantam cochin's first egg!

My first rooster, "lucky plucky". He was well loved, and took good care of his hens. Here he is pictured singing and watching over my bantam cochin hen who is laying her first egg. He did this for each of the girls when they layed their first egg! Also was the nest "approver", silly girls wouldn't use one he hadn't sung about!

lacy, EE hen who layed a pink egg! Had to be rehomed as she preferred the open range to a pen, and i had to pen a lot because of predators this year :(
