New coop --still in the works which is why you see all the lumber and fence mess in the background. The entire design of this coop was inspired by all of the helpful members here at BYC. Thanks to all of these people who were willing to share their photos and explanations.
This is the back of the coop where the 'people doors' are. A big thanks to my hubby for figuring out how to make the one for the coop as I wanted a backdoor like UrbanMama's coop but needed it to be tall enough for the guys in the house to walk into. The screened in part was the run we had on their old, small, store bought coop. I am working on converting this into an arbor. All parts of the coop need more paint as we ran out of each of the colors.
Hanging waterer with 4 push in nipples on bottom. The bucket holds about 3 1/2 gallons. This stays in the coop but I still keep a 1 gallon and a 1 quart out in their pen during the day.
