New Double Brooder made from a 4'x8'x 2' shipping crate. I bought several of these shipping crates because they had new 4"x8' treated post on them. I cut the post off to use for fencing later and turned it on edge, divided it and made doors with plywood from one of the other shipping crates. I bought hinges, electric boxes and plastic to cover windows and flooring from Habitat Restore so, cost was only $60.00 for crate, lights, electric wire and hot water thermostat.
