We had a chick who got stuck trying to climb through the chicken wire walls.
My baby comes to say hi. Every time I open the cage, she jumps up onto the waterer and then up onto my arm as soon as I put it in for any reason. She just wants to be help stroked and talked with. My dog is jealous... I'm wondering why I need a dog!
My homemade feeder. Make sure the holes are about 1" from the bottom of the bucket to ensure that smaller chicks can get feed since their necks and legs are too short to reach down into the trough for the food.

My overnight heat source and floor level thermometer. I have a ceiling fan which is on 24/7 to eliminate hot spots or cold spots. You can see the cricket farm in the background, but we have chosen to not pursue them as they take too much effort for too little return nutritionally. We pulled up the carpet before installing the chicken coop in this room.
