This home-made feeder cuts down on waste, because the hens must put head INTO the feeder. Cost: free square bucket, a PVC elbow & some PVC glue. (Maybe $4 tops)
My birthday gift! The family made me a treadle feeder & my sister wood-burned the artwork.
