Our first chickens! We have 3 Australorps, 3 Ameraucana, and 1 Lavender Orpington. We got the first 6 from TSC and the lavender from a local woman. I can't wait to see them grow up and find out if we have roosters or hens. lol

This is my makeshift brooder. This is actually my old bearded dragon tank that I made. It has stone tile flooring and wire mesh lid. I have since moved the heat lamp in order to best deliver the appropriate temperature to the tank. The entire lid and the center of the front open up for access for cleaning and feeding.
