Yes, it's most definitely normal. She may not even lay for a few weeks, as her body gets into a more mature in-sync rhythm. Also with the days getting shorter, it may affect her cycle. Again she may start back laying again and not stop - I'm a newbie, but I speak with authority from my very own recent experience. Hang on in there, it will pay off to be patient. You'll see.
@LRundles1 Congrats on the next one. Now, don't be surpeiaed or alarmed if things go a little haywire every now and again. If you change their diet, or they get stressed or almost anything changes for them they may have an alteration in egg laying. Biggest tip: Be watchful. A mini diary may help you record (aka remember) subtle differences which may mean a lot in the whole picture. Also, any questions or thoughts about the flock will become a life long memory for you to cherish.
