Our new chicken coop in the background is attached to the pen made of 6' tall 1"x 2" wended wire with 1/2" hardware cloth on the lower 2'. The top of the pen is chicken wire over 3/4"metal conduit for support held up well during several snow and ice storms.

We covered the top of the run with chicken wire supported by metal conduit to keep out predators. we call it the "Tholian Web"
We added two windows and an automatic chicken door.
