Peaches (Buff Rock) struck this pose when I opened the coop door to see what all her crowing was about ... it's as if she's saying, "Who, me??" She replaced my rooster ... and makes as much noise, if not more!!

Sunshine wears a pinless peeper. Peeper blocks the direct line-of-sight and reduces/removes the instinct to attack. I highly recommend them.
Bully #2: Sunshine. Now the wearer of a pinless peeper. Immediately stopped attacking when this went on.
Bully #1: Gandie. Now the humble wearer of a pinless peeper. Took about 15 minutes for her to stop attacking her 'prey', but she finally backed off.
Fluffball spent 2 weeks in quarantine after she was attacked by the others ... they pecked a huge chunk out of the back of her head. Peroxide & Tea Tree Oil got her healed up nicely. This tough chook never missed a day laying :)
The "chore" of feeding the chickens is so much more exciting now that they leave us gifts :)
