Rooftop carrier gutter clips tied to elastic cording secures to top down, which must be lifted before the front door can be slid up 'n out. The second glass, visible through the door, serves to control air flow, as well as to allow folks a stress-free view into the world of keets (and chicks, in a few days ~'-)
Note the positioning of Niko, who now hangs out close to the brooder ... I hope he plans to protect 'em, but perhaps he's hopin' they'll land in his food bowl.
