Recycled (and certainly antiquated!) skis hold the hardware cloth to the 4x4's with no chance of being ripped off, unless the varmint has a drill or a sawzall.

My hubby made a chicken stencil for our coop, a nice touch! Looking closely, one can see the painted tack strip that trims all seams (and then some) so that Mr. Bear can't get a good grip to rip off plywood sheeting.
