Rest of first group I hatched. 18 total - sold 3, have 5 in ICU and have 10 healthy today. Am hoping all are not going to get sick.
Here we r on day 20 of incubation. Noticed pips on 2 eggs. Helped out a little and put them back. Hopefully they will b able to hatch themselves for the most.
This is how I am raising chicks once they come out of incubator, before they go into hen house. Looking for couple more old used not working freezers anyone close wants hauled off. The old rusty freezer was my dad's. He had it for 30 years b4 I claimed it from estate. Dad lives on!! Need to keep chicks in freezers few more weeks in winter apparently.
Up to 7 sick chicks this morning in ICU. Haven't lost any yet. They are trying to hold on.

ICU...the reason I finally joined group. 5 of first ones I hatched got sick over weekend in 22 degree wind chill. Got them in garage. Keeping warm and giving med.
Mixed batch I bought at local feed store when I hatched my first one. Got these to keep 1st one company. Bought them about 1 week old. They are about 4 months old now.
Batch incubating. Coming out in 3 weeks. Going to attempt to build some"cooler bators".
