Here we are 5 weeks old. and still waiting to go outside of the coop. Hubby is working very slowly in this heat. I don't blame him.

Got the run moved and the frame reinforced. Now I have to redo some of the hardware clothe and reinforce it.
Screen door is on! Getting different hinges tomorrow for it he doesn't like how they went on, my man the perfectionist! I keep reminding him it is just a chicken coop. Now I know the girls have plenty of ventilation! They have started to come running when ever they see me now. I guess they know who has the treats! They are looking out the screen door waiting to get the chance to come outside. But that is on this weekends plans Get the run and chicken door in so they can come outside. The has screen covered in hardware clothe and instead of using fender washers to hold the hardware clothe in so nothing can pull it away I went around it with a trim board and screwed it down. I used screen with the hardware clothe to help keep the wasp out.
I think they are ready to explore outside, they love looking out the door! Hang in there guys it will happen soon!
