Right now I just prop the lid of the laying boxes up with a stick, but I'm going to add an eye bolt, string, and hook for a pull and latch.
So, this is the rough draft of a work in progress.The house is 8ft wide x 8ft long x 8ft tall. I'll add more pics once we've finished the trim and paint. My wife is thinking old barn style red and white! Any suggestions?
I added the top windows for ventilation. Where I live, we have very mild winters and extremely hot summers.

The outside run has an access door so I can change their water. I'm in the process of building an automatic waterer.
I just cut a couple saplings for roosts and screwed them up to the studs across the inside, and added a walkway built from leftover material for access.
