Dun based cream will have a nice creamy color on the front of the feather while the back is a dull grey shade. Some feathers will have a grey core similar to the badger pattern.

This particular bird has some cree in both the cape and saddle Cree is a pattern that is prized by Fly Tyers. Cree is a repeating pattern of Black, Brown / Ginger and white on the same feather. Birds that have this pattern on every feather are extremely rare.
