Almost done! Just have to add the door to the run, put flowers in the window "boxes", and add a river rock border around the perimeter to cover the "underground" chicken wire.
The little "trap door" next to the window provides easy access to the nesting boxes.

Framing the run...my husband is such a good sport! He does NOT want these chickens! LOL!
Hoping that these little rubbermaid storage bins will serve as nice nesting boxes. I haven't seen anyone do this (there's probably a reason why!), but I like that they are removable, replaceable, and easier to clean. We'll see...worst case scenario...I've wasted $7.
We've given the girls two levels on which to roost. Hope they'll be comfy. Still trying to figure out what to do about a "poop slab" beneath the roost. Suggestions?
