My sons inserted a perimeter of bricks underneath the hutch to prevent wood/soil direct contact.
Perhaps in vain I put up some short metal fencing to protect my Lantana...
At the east end of the run the ladies can enjoy a view of the green belt behind us.
On the left is our beautiful white grape vine which is quickly being destroyed -- with such a small yard the sacrifice is worth it.
I know they'll destroy much of the greenery, but glad they'll have a lot of shade available in the hot South Texas summers.
