Temporary Housing, or homeless shelter. When someone (ahem, my frizzle bantam idiot chicken) does not go in at night, they tend to hang out in here. I found this out by surprise. The geese occupied it for two days while their apartment was being renovated.

This is the other half (I am holding up a lose gate I found to close off the gap) of the goose apartment. It is 6x 8 or 10 chain link run-of-the-mill dog pen.It had no blackberries and has GRASS! We had to first dig it out (it was overgrown) then move it back and rotate it. Thank goodness I have teen daughters to help.
This was made for a dog we had to put down, it is about 8x12. The kennel you see was used, and was to be hers for out here. We were moving her since she barked and barked and barked and my (country living) neighbor complained she barked "all day" so we were going to move her. She got a tumor and we put her down....it has been vacant for about 2 years. Don't ever get a jack russel unless you plan to run marathons daily with the dog on a leash.
Champagne, my Blue Swedish/Mallard male, that was born pigeon toed and wry necked. He is my favorite, even though he is kinda ugly. He seized the opportunity to bath in the goose's swimming pool (time to change it apparently). This was FULL, and my mean full of blackberry nastiness for the two days the geese were in the homeless shelter.

Bonnie and Clyde in coop junkyard. This is where the old stuff piles up, to the left of the coop. The chickens are idiots and think I just put out fresh foraging material. They have been pooping on it all along!
