The coop is starting to come together. Due to having foxes in the area I have placed wire meshing on the floor of the coop and lined the edges of the fence with pavers. The roof will be going up tomorrow and I am very happy with the progress made so far.
Investigating and finding the food under shelter.
The girls have been introduced into the coop, we don't have sand across all of the coop yet but the hens seem to love the sand and started to scratch and peck in it straight away.
I have a couple of dog kennels that I will be using for the hens, I'll see how it goes. I decided to go with the option of placing River Sand in the coop.

Introducing them to grass for the first time. They cope quite well and seem to like the freedom :)
