The door to the run is a pre-made screen door that I bought for $20 and cut about 10" off the top to fit the run. I also added 2"x3" wire to the door. The run is fully covered with chicken wire, including a 1' wide apron under the stones. The lower half of the run also has 2"x3" fencing. The finally completed coop and run! (Okay, it still needs more paint and dividers added to the nest boxes... will this project ever end??)
Quirky chicken ladder. It's fun to watch them come down this in the morning and they also like to roost on it.
I added roosts at a few different levels and a hanger for the food.

Finally starting to build the run! As you can see the season has changed. The chickens were almost 2 months old and we were very ready to move them out of the house! The run is made from 2"x4" pressure treated lumber.

Coop windows are completed, trim is added, and the nest box is finished. The nest box is 3' x 1' and has a hinged roof.
