The inside of the 8x4ft coop 90% finished. Lined the floor with linoleum. The 3 nest boxes can be seen on the left. We have 12 pullets so I'm hoping this will be enough. The roosting bar is placed 10" out from the coop wall and runs 8' long on the side wall and almost 4' across on the back wall, giving almost 12' of roosting space for the 12 girls. It was tough trying to figure out a good configuration for enough roosting space in there! The poop board sits 24" off the floor and the roosting bar is 30" off the floor.

This is our construction site lol! With 3 kids, two puppies and a farm to take care of, a clean work site was just not a priority!
Front of the run (before door). We had a lot of rocks and a pile of chipped granite on the property so I utilized them here. The rocks were placed on the outer border of the 2ft hardware cloth skirt around the run. They will also serve as the border for a flower bed to add some color and charm to the area. The granite pieces were placed as stepping stones to the run door, but they are a bit slippery in the rain. I'm undecided right now if they will stay.
Roof panels are on! It was just pure luck that it turned out so perfectly level :)
