The drain hole had to be enlarged: sponge works well to allow drainage, but keep worms in.
Styrofoam worm bin. Happy with how it moderates temp inside. Using extra recycle bin lined with plastic to catch fluid drainage. PS...I did NOT pick that wall color!!

Fat red wiggler and two babies.
A plastic lid that is moist with condensation. It has baby worms and the black stuff is castings. It also has some kind of white stuff: mold or yeast or fungus? That is new. Never had it before. Edit: just remembered I dusted with some DE...must be what that is...
