I also saved some of the eggs so visitors could see them. We don't have chickens in our area so everyone is amazed at the wonder of these eggs.
I sectioned off a quarter of the brooder for supplies; food, light, q-tips, cotton balls, antibiotic creme,tweezers, scissors, old toothbrush for sticky chick problem on 3 of the chicks.

That little stuffed animal hanging was in the incubator for the first chick that hatched well before everyone else. he was very loud until I put the stuffed animal in. Now he watches over the chick madness.
They are rarely huddled together which indicates to me that temps are just right.
There is a large dowel and a natural twig above it so they can learn to roost.
