This is a very popular box, I cant get them to go into any other ones! That leaves me arguing with 2 hens and 5 chicks every time I reach in there to get the egg. :( So I made new nesting boxes and added her eggs to it.
This was half of an old dog house that I flipped over to keep the water in, it keeps the water from getting filled with dirt.
So far this is as close as shes gotten to laying an egg in there....
The nest boxes I made. It took one day for them to tear up the nest...I guess grass was a bad idea! Lol, I learn something new everyday. Kinda like that show Green Acres.....im clueless!!
