This is the broader we built today! I started my first chick's out in a large tub and used small tension rods to hand food, and a water, quickly learned it was not gunna be enough space. This took us about 5 hours. We used 4x4s in the corners and and 2x4s for the rest of the structure. It's two stories separated by the floor, so there is to different areas planning on moving after a few weeks putting the new guys up top and moving older chick's to the bottom, and then moving them to our enclosed coop which is a enclosed room in our barn. Our chickens free range all day and have a dog door they go in and out of. Food, water, and chick stick are hanging from large L brackets and wire. Not sure if I like the light placement yet but we will see if they are warm enough!! Always can modify right?
