This is the frame work for the bantam stockade. It measures 4' x 16' and will consist of two 4' x 8' pens including a 3' x 4' spare rooster pen in each end. I should mention that all of the lumber used, so far, has been recycled with exception of the 4x4 posts and the wood fencing that will be apparent in photos to come.

Here is the finished floor before tool clean up. The fencing shown at both ends along the north side will run the entire length of the coop. This is building on a budget. I have to get more fence boards and then this side will look pretty nice.
Here is a shot showing the shady portion where the spare rooster at the east end will be able to lounge and stay semi-cool in the summer.
This is the fenced section underneath the coop for the spare rooster at that end to have a nice shady spot to relax in during the summer heat.

In this photo you can almost see the yellow string outlining my stockade so I can keep everything square... hopefully.
