This is the inside showing a 1/2 inch gap between the coffee can and the pie plate.
This 1 gal feeder took about 30 minutes to make. A coffee can, a pie plate and 3 cotter pins. I saved the lid of the coffee can and used a handle off an old paint can. Small but free if you got the stuff laying around.
