The temperature "probe" that sticks down below the motor/display. It appears to have a very long cord that wraps around the fan. I'm not sure why the cord is so long. Is it so people can put the probe in a different location??
You can see the one vent hole in this photo. It's located to the right of the display. I have the vent open.
