The lattice work you see in the window is actually about 2' away from the window. The coop is enclosed by the run so the hens can go completely around it. We put lattice up to keep nosy neighbors from watching our girls!

A little landscaping around the first coop. One thing we learned the hard way is to stain or paint BEFORE you put everything together!
Our first little coop and run. We quickly realized this small coop wasn't going to be big enough for 6 hens so we decided to build a bigger one plus add on more run space.
