Ventilated roof line for our Texas weather. All the siding is tongue and groove pine siding that my hubby rescued from a dumpster on the UT Campus that had streamers and sequins stapled too it from a parade float that was torn down. My boys helped us prep it by pulling out staples and nails.
I like that mounting them gives us more room inside for roosts and floor space.
My Dad gave me these galvanized nesting boxes that we mounted onto the back of the coop.
This side will have the cut out for our chickens to amble on down into their chicken run, which is our next project!

Getting the corrugated roof on. We scored a piece of corrugated composite material from a neighbor cleaning out their shed, it fits perfectly.
