We try to upcycle things as much as we can. I used old subdivision real estate signs as "shingles". It keeps it light, so I can move it by myself pretty easily.

Around the big coop, we are burying 2ft of tin to keep predators from digging under the fence. We had it, so we figured that would be a good use for it.

My daughter's old swingset. I turned it into a a "minicoop" to use as a grow-out pen for the bigger chicks before they get to go out to the big coop.
