Did you guys see this bumper sticker n the BackyardChickens store link? Hillarious! I will probably buy a couple and resell them at our household. I'm sure all the roommates will want one. We also have 3 dogs. But the dogs don't cook very well.
The steps up to the lawn and the north end of the garden. The upper patio has a shade umbrella an chairs where we sit and view the chickens. Laundry lines also dot the scenery. The wash house room is far left of the patio. Those who hang the laundry are serenaded by Big Boy the rooster who relishes all forms of audience. He has a huge ego and thinks everyone wants to hear him crow and at all hours of the day.
Playful fish in a wrap-around pond that makes the dead tree look that much more alluring. The tree is a tri-sided platform for what will one day be a treehouse.

East side view. Centrally located chicken coops. Two are in an L conformation. I put up black weed cloth so the dogs will give the chickens some privacy, and also to shield them a bit from what were days with the temperature over 100 degrees.
Forefront features artichokes, next to tomatoes, rosemary left middle, sage far back left, lavender in there somewhere, and peaches falling all over. They are caught in the net. That's our tour- Thanks for looking!
We did not get any rain this year. Finally on the day I photograph we get rain! Hurray! But it's dark and gloomy, and the half dead plants are really enjoying being wet!
