When I brought home our first silkies, this prompted my husband to build a small pen. It's a 4'x8' structure divided into 2--to house a vaiety of silkies each.
The roof & the walls were installed & my husband cut a large door on each side to afford easy clean up & pick up of birds
A pitch roof design was chosen so we can again use the suntuf material to let a lot of light in to aid n egg production
