You can now see the basic form of the coop and the various shelters in there. I am working on it by trial and error. Hopefully not too much error. You can't see it too well but the solid section of the roof is now up giving some proper protection from rain and sun. The rest of the roof area will be a mesh roof so the girls can expose themselves to sun and rain if they want to.
Still before the rest of the roof is up but getting closer.
The sand is now across all of the pen but still not deep enough for my liking. i need to pickup some more.

Whilst clearing the coop area to fix it up we found a couple of small snakes (Dwarf Crowned snake) living there. We have relocated them well away from the coop but I am well aware that we have Red Belly Blacks in the area as well, along with the Dwarf Crowned snakes. I am hoping that by making sure that there are no eggs left lying around this will reduce the risk of snakes in the coop.
The mess outside the coop as we are trying to get it upto the standard that I want :)
