    Well it's more of a pale salmon pink, but it's definitely a shade of pink.

    GREAT NEWS !!! I came home from work today & found an egg. A little pink egg. How girly of her to lay a pink egg like that. Thanks for the replies. My bird is completely back to normal.

    She never layed any eggs yet. I felt around her abbs. It doesn't seem like anything is swollen, but I don't know what exactly to look for either. I'll have to look up egg yolk peritonitis. Don't know what that is.

    I want to start letting my chickens outside, but I read about Cocci in the soil could kill them if they don't build an immunity to it. I went to my local TSC to get some kind of preventative, but they didn't have anything. Just de-wormer. Any suggestions?

    PVC Gate: Do you have one? [need pics]

    One problem with PVC though. UV light breaks down the plastic making it brittle, so direct sunlight will destroy it over time; usually 1 summer. It would be best to paint the PVC with a metallic spray paint to shield it from the sun.
