She does actually seem better today. she is eating better, moveing more and just looks like she feels a bit better. Her Poo also looks better and is now a solid poo rather than the watery Poos from the past couple of days.
She is still not feeling great, but definatly better. We got her some...
Thank you very much for your reply, I am REALLY hopeing that she will snap out of it.
-My girlfriend got her some plain yogurt today, however she did not seem to like it and only ate about 2 bites.
-She seems to eat crumbles ok out of our hand or cup, however does not seem to eat out of her...

Do you think this sounds like a case of heart problem? As I mentioned I cannot see any sighn of a respritory problem, she is not breathing hard or wheezing or anything like that. I am not real familiar with cocci (never had a chicken get it) however froom what I read there is often...
I just took a couple of magnifying glasses and inspected her the best I could ( on her feather and down under them) She is pretty thick feathered.
From the best I can tell she does not have bugs, I am gonna check again, but I saw no sighns of blackness or mold looking stuff under her wings or...
I just brought her in mabey 30 min. ago and she has not pooped yet. I will update on that ASAP.
Her breathering seems fairly normal from what I can tell, no rattle or anything noticable.
She did drink some electrolyte water, a bit of food and a bit of apple. It is snowing pretty good and I...
Today when we went out to close the chicken coop we found our tan chicken we got this spring on the floor being lethargic and she has a blueish tint to her comb. She is obviously not feeling well.
It has snowed all day long and they did not really come out of the coop today, I did not shovel it...
Were they trying to chew their way in, Or were you keeping rabbits in the fence?
I dont have any experience with rabbits really, but definatly never had one chew its way into the fence. It has held up really well, as long as it keeps the chickens in is all that matters to me. They run to the...
Pics would help, what kind of roofing do you have on the coop? what kind of sheet insulation (styrafoam?). The birds do pretty good in wheather, my neighbors and I both use wire mesh on the floors. I live on the state line of Indiana and MI. so it gets pretty cold.
If it is only keeping them in that you are worried about 5 ft. will do it. I use 4ft plastic fenceing and I don't have any trouble atall, I just clip the wings in the spring.
I think a covered area is needed so they have cover from hawks etc. as far as keeping them pinned though 5ft is good.
I have considered doing that and am still thinking about it. Big issue is I don't have alot of freinds in the city since I went to school in the county. most people I know who live in the city are family freinds, I mostly worry about them going in uneducated and not haveing awnsers when asked...
We just recently got a TSC right up the road from me, however I live on the edge of town. I would guess that 90% of the people who go there live in the county. I have never really seen any chickens in the area other than my neighbor, I really think people are uneducated about them. Every one who...
So I am "less than legal", I live in city limits and I am not ignorant of the laws.
I live on over an acre, on the edge of the city. My neighbors all have 1+ acres and I know them pretty well.
My Mother is on one side of me, I grew up there and I know her neighbors and their neighbor "muscle car...
Well I went, it was a huge waste of time. nothing was said, no one other than the council people and secretary really spoke atall. No one addressed any concerns they had or anything.. they babbled for Approx. 20 Min. and meeting adjourned....... I might go to another meeting and see if I learn...
