Deworming question in a last ditch effort to save Lucy :(

Thank you!! She's barely eating anything & yes she's already losing weight. Her lower belly is not enlarged. It felt normal yesterday. Would you recommend deworming her to see if it would help? I don't know what else to do to try to help her.

Deworming question in a last ditch effort to save Lucy :(

She is not currently laying. When I first noticed she wasn't feeling well I checked her to make sure she wasn't egg bound. She has been in my "sick bay" for a week tomorrow. After I started giving her the Save-A-Chick in her water she perked up & was acting much better. I'm pretty sure she had a...

Deworming question in a last ditch effort to save Lucy :(

She is 2 years old. She is not eating much at all. I have her separated & comfy. She didn't even eat all of her scrambled egg this morning but she is drinking quite a bit. I am adding Save-A-Chick & probiotics to her water. Her stools are mostly liquid but I have tried to take a few pix for you...

Deworming question in a last ditch effort to save Lucy :(

I have read several threads on the instructions for deworming with Safeguard for goats but I'm still confused. I am only going to worm Lucy right now. She has not been feeling well for a week now. I have not seen worms in her stools but they are quite runny. The only dewormer I was able to find...

Help! My girl has a tumor or abscess!!

The lump is softer today than a few days ago & she hasn't been eating much feed. I am really starting to wonder if she has a clogged crop. The lump is squishy. It is higher than her bony keel.

Thank you! So the eggs are safe after the 1st dose? I just want to be clear since I sell the eggs.

Help! My girl has a tumor or abscess!!

No, I'm sure it wasn't from rubbing it against anything. She was never heavy but is much thinner now. She is acting much better. The lump seems to be getting smaller but she is still not eating very much feed. I am still putting Save-A-Chick in her water.

Help! My girl has a tumor or abscess!!

Thank you for responding! The lump is on the right side of her breast. She seems to be acting some better. I took a few pix but they don't show very well how big it actually is. I am in a hurry this morning but can try to take better pix this evening if need be. Hope they help some.

    Valbazen de-worming question....

I plan on de-worming my girls soon but have never done it before. Just so I'm clear...do I only toss the eggs for 2 weeks following the initial dosing or also 2 weeks following the 2nd dosing (10 days after the 1st dose)? Thanks in advance!

Help! My girl has a tumor or abscess!!

My 2 year old ISA Brown has been droopy. I separated her on Wed evening so she is alone and comfortable. She is mostly standing with her eyes closed, her comb is a lighter color and drooping and she looks bad out of her eyes. She also has watery poop. I can tell she's not feeling well. She is...

why do they molt in the winter?

I went out to my coop today & much to my surprise, there were feathers everywhere!! My girls are only 9 months old so I was a little shocked that 1 of my BRs is molting...and in the winter!! It can get pretty darn cold here so should I be worried about her getting too cold? I read on this...

    Hi from IN

I have been a lurker for many months & finally decided to join today! I have ALWAYS wanted chickens and was FINALLY "allowed" to this spring (by my hubby). He is a carpenter so of course my girls have an awesome coop! Because it can get quite cold here in the flatlands (I'm from KY), I...
