  4. This was the first chick. I went in to do my normal tending in the mornings and heard some peeping. Thought it might be the baby birds in the roof, but nope! Saw this little one poke it's head out from under mom! I was so excited! They have been laying on eggs for almost a year and we never hatched anything yet!

    Emergency Help Please!

    My hens have hatched 3 chicks and there are more on the way. The lady at the TS told us we had to separate them because if they eat the adult food or the older chickens eat the baby food that they could die??? This makes no sense to me because chickens have been raising their own for how long...
