So when using the word "silkie" it is not a refrence to the "breed" Silkie? So this person happened to hatch a pair of Ameurcana's with "fluffy" feathers??- 1fastwalker

Thank you to those who have posted to try and help me ID these chicks! all of the chicks pictured, EXCEPT the brown one ( i didnt realize I posted that photo) were ordered from My Pet Chicken and are what they describe as "rare females", so they wouldnt they be "mixes"?....right? My order of these day old chicks included 6 "rare females", 2 "black australorp female", 3 "silver laced wyandotte female" and 6 "brown egg layer assorted female". So out of these 17 ordered 6 died within a day or two of me recieving them. Being that young wasnt sure who was who anyway! So now...- 1fastwalker
