Thank goodness. Was told when she was a chick she was an ameraucana hen. Didn't really care what breed but I'm glad the second part of what they told me was correct. No need for a rooster. LoL

My family is new to raising chickens so I don't know all the ins and outs but I know I don't want fertilized eggs. No problem keeping them aside from that.
Looks as though Aseels are not great egg layers but the other is. Unfortunately we got two barred rocks too that ended up being roos so looks like I'll be taking them to the poultry sale and trading out for some pullets.
After searching pictures and charts I'm turning it over to you guys for help. Can anyone tell me what breed these two are? Also I feel pretty certain the darker colored one is a hen but could be wrong so what about both...hen or not?
